About The Position
Sterling Grove Golf & Country Club is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Beverage Cart Attendant to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our guests while they enjoy their time on the golf course. The Beverage Cart Attendant will be responsible for driving the beverage cart to various locations on the course, ensuring that guests have access to a variety of beverages and snacks. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment and will be committed to delivering superior service to enhance the overall guest experience. As a Beverage Cart Attendant, you will maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, reflecting the high standards of our club. You will be responsible for stocking the beverage cart with all necessary supplies, including bar products, glassware, and expendable items, ensuring that everything is at par levels for daily use. Compliance with all applicable beverage operation laws is crucial, and you will be expected to operate the Jonas system for guest member charges and credit card transactions accurately. Building relationships with our guests is a key aspect of this role. You will learn the names of regular patrons and make an effort to recognize them, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. Monitoring the guest experience is vital, and you will take appropriate actions to ensure that every customer receives the best service possible. Additionally, you will prepare garnishes, mix drinks, and assist in food preparation as needed, showcasing your versatility and commitment to the team. This position requires effective communication with peers, management, and other staff members to ensure smooth operations. You will also perform clean-up and closing duties as assigned, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the beverage cart and surrounding areas.
