About the position

The Beverage Hospitality Manager at Marlow's Tavern is responsible for leading the restaurant's operations to ensure high levels of hospitality, profitability, and growth. This role involves managing daily operations, promoting the tavern's culture, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for customers. The manager will also focus on team development, marketing, and maintaining operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating daily Front of the House restaurant operations
• Deliver superior service and maximize guest satisfaction
• Respond efficiently and accurately to guest complaints
• Regularly review product quality and research new vendors
• Organize and supervise shifts
• Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
• Manage restaurant's image
• Drive standards and control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
• Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events
• Train new and current employees on proper guest service practices

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Key Employee, Assistant Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar role
• Proven guest service experience as a Bartender, Server or Key Employee
• Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge
• Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills
• Acute financial management skills
