About the position
PrairieFire Coffee Roasters is seeking a Beverage Sales Representative to drive sales in the Springfield, MO area. This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual with a strong network in the hospitality, office-manufacturing, or healthcare industries. The position offers a base salary, unlimited commission potential, and the flexibility to manage one's own schedule while focusing on building lasting customer relationships and providing ongoing support to commercial accounts.
Responsibilities
- Generate sales leads by cold calling, networking, and sales presentations.
- Build strong relationships in the community to promote brand awareness.
- Attend special events to promote the brand.
- Promptly respond to customer requests and follow up on sales prospects in a timely manner.
- Manage product ordering and inventory to maintain optimal levels.
- Properly stock the company vehicle with products and equipment to ensure consumer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Strong book of business in food service, office-manufacturing, or healthcare.
- Business-to-business sales experience required.
- Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
- Light knowledge of plumbing and electrical helpful.
- Must be at least 21 years old with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check as per company requirements.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 30lbs on a repetitive basis.
- Must be able to bend, kneel, reach above the head, and stand regularly throughout the shift.
