About the position

The position is responsible for ensuring excellent service to patrons in a timely manner, which includes taking orders, garnishing drinks, and maintaining cleanliness in assigned sections. The role emphasizes quality guest service and a favorable gaming experience while managing levels of intoxication.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to operating principles: Clean, Safe, Friendly, and Fun.
• Interact positively with guests and employees, demonstrating resilience in difficult situations.
• Take orders from patrons and prepare drinks as necessary, returning them promptly.
• Check with customers to ensure satisfaction with their orders.
• Follow cash handling procedures accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas, including removing bottles and glassware.
• Assist in stocking and cleaning assigned areas.
• Develop and maintain positive guest relations, resolving minor disputes as needed.
• Notify Supervisor or Security for guest disputes when necessary.
• Stay informed about special events and promotional activities available to guests.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and understand simple instructions.
• Knowledge of alcohol laws and regulations and appropriate gaming laws.
• Ability to handle situations arising from intoxication.
• Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of alcohol.
• Ability to perform duties in an interruptive environment under time pressures.
• Ability to efficiently maneuver on the casino floor while balancing a tray of drinks.
