About the position

The Beverage Server is responsible for serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to customers in the gaming facility, ensuring a positive and engaging experience for guests. This role requires knowledge of beverage offerings, compliance with alcohol service policies, and the ability to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for patrons.

Responsibilities

• Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to customers seated at gaming machines or bar areas.
• Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items, liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections.
• Greet guests, take beverage orders, and relay them to bartenders using the POS system.
• Prepare beer, wine, and frozen drinks as needed.
• Ensure compliance with WCH's Alcohol Policies & Procedures regarding the sale of alcohol.
• Maintain sufficient inventories to meet the needs of the beverage operation.
• Complete all applicable reports in a timely manner.
• Ensure the physical condition of the premises is safe and healthy.
• Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled in a GED program.
• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older.
• Six (6) months related experience and/or training preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry 20lbs continuously throughout the day.
• Must possess a high level of maturity, dependability, and punctuality.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Must successfully complete Responsible Vendor Alcoholic Beverage Service and TIPS training.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Must have a Tribal Gaming License or the ability to obtain one.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in wine knowledge is preferred.
