About the position

The BHJI Navigator role involves exploring treatment recovery options with enrollees, clarifying their goals and strategies, providing education and resources, and assisting them in accessing treatment and community supports. This position is available for both full-time and part-time employment, focusing on individualized care coordination and recovery-oriented practices.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with enrollees to develop individualized plans based on identified needs and goals.
  • Assist enrollees with care coordination and scheduling medical appointments.
  • Implement recovery-oriented practices, including motivational interviewing and harm reduction strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field preferred (but not required).
  • Experience navigating local treatment and social services systems.
  • Experience working with individuals who are justice involved.
  • Trained in overdose prevention.
  • Knowledgeable about and respects all paths to recovery.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Experience in providing education and resources to enrollees.
