About the position

The BHS Assistant Wrestling Coach will support the head coach in developing and managing the wrestling program at Baldwin High School. This part-time position involves assisting with training, mentoring student-athletes, and promoting a positive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach in planning and conducting wrestling practices.
• Mentor and develop student-athletes in wrestling techniques and strategies.
• Promote sportsmanship and a positive team culture among athletes.
• Help with the organization of wrestling events and competitions.
• Provide feedback and support to athletes to improve their performance.

Requirements

• Experience in coaching wrestling at the high school level or higher.
• Strong knowledge of wrestling techniques and strategies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with student-athletes and parents.
• Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive team environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience as a wrestler at the high school or collegiate level.
• First aid and CPR certification.
