About the position

The Business Intelligence & Analytics Product Owner/Business Analyst will be a key member of the Business Intelligence and Analytics team, responsible for supporting various business stakeholders. This role involves understanding business needs, developing analytical solutions, and creating internal data products using data analytics and visualization tools. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively to drive business performance and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the business to understand their needs and develop analytical solutions to improve business performance.
• Create a series of internal data products using data analytics and data visualization tools.
• Write user stories and conduct acceptance testing for data analytic solutions.
• Contribute to the development of cost/benefit analysis for digital tools.
• Function as a proactive thought partner with business stakeholders to develop use cases for data analysis and dashboards.
• Groom a backlog of additional features and data to support the roadmap in collaboration with the Data Governance and Technology team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required (preferred in IT/Business/Science/Math).
• 10+ years of experience in business data analysis and requirements building.
• Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to influence and drive cross-functional teams.
• Working knowledge of the agile software development process.
• Experience with SQL, Tableau, and/or other analytical technologies.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in leading needs analysis conversations.
• Ability to balance competing priorities and manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Experience in creating and maintaining documentation for processes.
