About the position

As a Business Intelligence Analyst at Maverik, you will play a crucial role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive business success. This position involves building and maintaining analytics tools to evaluate business performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and uncover trends. You will collaborate with the data team and stakeholders to address challenges and create impactful reporting solutions, while also optimizing the Looker platform and automating processes.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain analytics assets to evaluate business performance, identify trends, and track KPIs.
• Engage with the data team and other technical experts to understand complex data sets.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand issues and develop reporting solutions.
• Develop, administer, and maintain the Looker platform.
• Automate complex calculations and processes.
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience writing SQL.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including strong listening skills.
• Ability to operate independently without the need for continuous oversight or direction.
• Proven initiative in identifying and solving work-related problems.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and balance competing needs.
