The BI Analyst position is a critical role within the City of Atlanta, responsible for collecting, analyzing, and displaying data to support various city groups and teams in achieving their goals. This role requires a strong focus on business intelligence, data architecture, and governance leadership. The BI Analyst will lead the strategic direction of data analysis, ensuring that the data collected is not only accurate but also actionable for city leaders. The position involves creating data cubes and data marts to meet the information needs of executive leaders, as well as providing support for key performance indicator (KPI) measurement across the city. In addition to these responsibilities, the BI Analyst will be tasked with evaluating data to identify system gaps, process inefficiencies, and potential risks to the organization. This includes grooming and remediating data gaps, implementing master data modeling in the data warehouse, and overseeing the data stewardship committee. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in data analysis and development, with a minimum of five years of experience in ETL, SQL, and data warehouse development.
