The BI Analyst position at DJJ, a division of Nucor Corporation, focuses on harnessing data to drive business growth and decision-making. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping strategies and ensuring the reliability and performance of BI solutions while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain innovative BI solutions.
• Build data pipelines, models, dashboards, and reports.
• Support critical decision-making across product groups and divisions.
• Ensure performance, availability, and reliability of BI solutions.
• Participate in requirements gathering with key stakeholders.
• Transition developed solutions to customers and provide necessary training.
• Analyze data for discrepancies and perform data cleanup.
• Provide technical assistance and cross-training to team members.

Requirements

• Minimum three years of BI experience developing data pipelines/ETLs, and building reports and dashboards.
• Knowledge and/or experience with Agile development approaches and techniques.
• Self-starter who performs duties with moderate to low supervision.
• Team player committed to both the team and the mission.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in IT/IS, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of analytics platforms in Databricks, Azure, data lakes, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience using Power BI, DAX, and/or MDX expressions for complex data modeling and reporting.
• Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, including its underlying data entities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, macros, and pivot tables.
