About the position

The BI & Data Visualization Analyst at Cinemark USA, Inc. is responsible for implementing and optimizing the Virtual Agent support infrastructure within ServiceNow, enhancing self-service support capabilities. This role combines technical expertise with business acumen to modernize reporting and dashboard platforms, utilizing Power BI to create engaging visualizations from diverse data sources. The analyst will collaborate with software vendors and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, while also staying updated on emerging reporting technologies.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key specialist for the Virtual Agent and self-service support in ServiceNow for theaters and guests.
• Implement detailed PowerBI Reports and Dashboards and participate in future development efforts.
• Capture requirements and develop specifications for new Dashboard and Report projects.
• Perform maintenance and investigate issues with software applications, recommending corrective actions.
• Work with vendors and department members to design, improve, and debug software applications utilized by Technology Operations and Presentation.
• Assist in managing various projects, including budgets and timelines, ensuring timely implementation and customer approval.
• Document all work and assist in training as required.
• Stay current on reporting technologies and features that benefit the department.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems or a similar discipline.
• 5+ years of experience working on software implementation projects.
• Minimum of 5 years in software and reporting development.
• Proficiency in various development environments and data structures and systems.
• Expertise in SQL queries, SSRS, and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server BI Stack tools, including SSRS, TSQL, Power Query, MDX, PowerBI, DAX, and Data Lake.
• Experience with ServiceNow and AWS Reporting is an asset.
• Proficient in .NET development using VB and C#, and JavaScript.
• Proven communication and problem-solving skills.
