About the position

The Business Intelligence Developer at Medulla plays a critical role in driving patient acquisition through advanced analytics. This position involves developing and automating analytics solutions, creating dashboards, and providing insights to the leadership team to support strategic decision-making. The role requires a blend of business intuition and technical expertise to optimize performance and support the organization's growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and automate analytics solutions to answer key business questions and enable faster data-decision making.
  • Design analytics, dashboards, reports, and data sets for actionable recommendations based on critical KPIs.
  • Define a comprehensive measurement framework and roadmap for analytics.
  • Create dashboards to monitor key performance metrics and identify trends for performance optimization.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses and deep dive analysis into business questions.
  • Provide analysis in digestible formats and dashboards for senior leadership.
  • Recommend appropriate data models based on insights and experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, Math, Quantitative or Statistics.
  • 2+ years of Data Analytics & Query Design; proficient in SQL.
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience developing optimized SQL queries across large volumes of data.
  • 1+ years of experience using leading Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI and Python.
  • Deep understanding of underlying data requirements and necessary architecture to support dashboard solutions.
  • Knowledge of best practices in data visualization.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to provide architectural recommendations around data structures, sourcing, performance, scalability, and security.
  • Experience with cloud tools for data cleansing & integration.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce.
