About the position

The BI Developer position is a hybrid role focused on data analysis and business intelligence within the healthcare sector. The role involves gathering and interpreting data, developing predictive models, and providing technical expertise to improve business processes and decision-making. The position requires strong analytical skills and experience in mentoring junior developers, as well as proficiency in various BI tools and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Gather information from various sources and interpret patterns to support forecasting efforts.
• Analyze data and create comprehensive reports to communicate findings to relevant business areas.
• Maintain data sources and define new data collection and analysis processes.
• Train end users on the reporting database environment and reports.
• Support reporting requirement revisions and data integrity initiatives.

Requirements

• 7+ years of industry experience in data analysis.
• BA/BS or MS degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience functioning as a Data Scientist.
• 5+ years of experience developing prediction models.
• 5+ years of experience performing statistical analysis and reporting.
• 5+ years of experience identifying trends and addressing anomalies.
• 3+ years of experience mentoring BI Developer Level-II resources.
• 5+ years of healthcare experience, specifically in claims processing.
• 5+ years of experience writing advanced SQL queries.
• 5+ years of experience with PowerBuilder/BI, Tableau, and AWS QuickSite (nice to have).
• 5+ years of experience generating models.
• 5+ years of experience working in Agile or SAFe environments.
• Experience with presentation tools and delivering presentations.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with AWS QuickSite.
