About the position

PPG Industries, Inc. is seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join our team. This position is primarily work-at-home, with the ability to telecommute, provided that the remote worksite is within commuting distance of Pittsburgh, PA. The BI Developer will be responsible for designing and building scalable data models that support our business intelligence initiatives. This role involves cleaning and digitally transforming data to ensure accuracy and usability for analysis. The successful candidate will enable sophisticated analytic capabilities using Power BI, allowing stakeholders to make informed decisions based on data-driven insights. The position requires bi-weekly trips to the corporate office in Pittsburgh, PA, to collaborate with team members and participate in strategic planning sessions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling, data transformation, and experience with Power BI, as well as a passion for leveraging data to drive business success.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data models for business intelligence applications.
