About the position

The BI Developer at HCSC is responsible for partnering with engagement leads to identify opportunities and develop analytics and reporting solutions. This role emphasizes advanced data visualization skills using platforms like Tableau and Power BI, along with proficiency in SQL and Azure, to create actionable insights from complex business data.

Responsibilities

• Partner with engagement leads to identify opportunities for analytics and reporting solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions in consultation with business stakeholders.
• Utilize advanced data visualization and dashboarding skills with applications such as Power BI, Tableau, and Qlik.
• Promote innovative insights by gaining a solid understanding of available data.
• Identify opportunities to rationalize and modernize reporting and dashboard self-service solutions.
• Distill complex business information into actionable insights.
• Source, interpret, and present analytics in a thoughtful and meaningful manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field and 1 year of experience with data visualization platforms, or 5 years' experience with data visualization platforms.
• Proficiency in SQL and Azure or other data warehousing platforms.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills.
