About the position

The BI Developer I position at TIAG involves supporting the Enterprise Intelligence and Data Solutions (EIDS) team, which provides Health Information Technology engineering support for the Department of Defense (DoD) Medical Departments. The role focuses on implementing data and analytic capabilities, assisting in the development of dashboards and reports, and providing technical consulting on data strategies and practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing dashboards, reports, and dynamic web pages using Tableau, Qlik, and other leading BI tools.
• Assist in implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Business Intelligence software.
• Provide technical consulting on data and analytic strategies, practices, and standards.
• Provide customer training in features and functionality of BI tools.
• Improve systems by studying current practices and designing modifications.
• Work collaboratively with teammates and customers.
• Keep current on the latest BI trends and technology.

Requirements

• Experience with Tableau and/or QlikView.
• Experience in Data Analytics or Business Intelligence development.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and with others.
• Understanding of statistical and analytic concepts.
• Proficient with HTML, JavaScript, C#, .NET, JQuery, SharePoint Designer, SQL, CAML, InfoPath (Preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to work in Business Intelligence.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or 1-2 additional years of technical experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SharePoint Designer
• Familiarity with CAML and InfoPath
