About the position

NFF is seeking a resource that successfully delivers business intelligence (BI) information to the entire organization and experienced in Data Warehouse/BI development and implementations. The BI/Data Warehouse Developer is responsible for the successful delivery of business intelligence information to the entire organization and is experienced in Data Warehouse and BI development and implementations. Gathers business requirements and creates technical designs. Designs, develops, and supports new and current ETL processes by employing industry standards and best practices to enhance loading of data from and into different source/ target systems. Provides support to the organization's business requirements in the application and consumption of information from the Data Warehouse. Reviews, analyzes, tests, debugs, modifies, and creates ETLs. Documents technical needs for ETL processes and databases, and ensures optimal technical infrastructure is utilized.

Responsibilities

  • Provides support to the organization's business requirements in the application and consumption of information from the Data Warehouse.
  • Reviews, analyzes, tests, debugs, modifies, and creates ETLs.
  • Documents technical needs for ETL processes and databases.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience.
  • 5 years experience in developing and updating Cognos and Power BI reports.
  • At least five years of experience in data preparation, data gateway, and data warehousing project.
  • At least five years of experience working with the Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack (Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS) and Cognos.
  • 5 years understanding and work experience with the reporting of data within enterprise applications.
  • Understanding of JavaScript, CSS, SQL, and other JavaScript libraries.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Communications, Finance, or in a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
