About the position

As a BI Developer, you will play a crucial role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. You will work closely with data analysts, data engineers, and business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Your expertise in BI tools and technologies will enable you to create interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations that facilitate data-driven decision-making. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data used in reporting and analytics. You will implement best practices for data governance and data quality, ensuring that the BI solutions you develop are reliable and scalable. Additionally, you will be involved in performance tuning of BI applications and optimizing data models to enhance the user experience. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of BI processes and methodologies. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders will be essential in fostering a data-driven culture within the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 9 to 10 years of experience in business intelligence development.
• Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with cloud-based BI solutions.
• Knowledge of data visualization best practices.
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and applications.
