About the position

The position involves developing and testing business intelligence (BI) solutions to ensure data accuracy and reliability. The role requires collaboration with internal and external customers to analyze requirements and support key organizational priorities, particularly in healthcare analytics and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test BI solutions for data accuracy and reliability.
• Run regular quality checks and troubleshoot issues within BI reports and tools.
• Work day to day within the Epic Clarity platform and optimize dashboards for effective visualization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in mathematics, computer science, physics, information systems, actuarial science or related computational field; Master's Degree preferred.
• At least two years of business intelligence and analytics experience, including data discovery/visualization applications, hardware/software configuration, databases, and data access/programming tools.
• At least two years of hands-on experience with business intelligence and statistical programming/analysis tools (e.g., Business Objects, Tableau, Olik, R, or similar applications).
• Proficiency in one computer programming language (e.g., C, C++, Java, Perl, etc.).
• Knowledgeable about database design, problem analysis, and relational database concepts.
• Skilled in developing applications using PL/SQL, JavaScript, and HTML.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with HL7 interfaces and ETL processes.
• Prior experience in healthcare and with clinical claims data.
• Prior experience with one or more of the following transaction systems (Epic, McKesson, Lawson) preferred.
