About the position

The BI Developer will be responsible for managing, creating, updating, and scheduling reports while migrating current analytics into Qlik solutions. This role involves assisting in process improvement and automation, developing procedures for new products and services, and providing user training and support.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, create, update, and schedule current and new reports.
  • Migrate current analytics into Qlik solutions including design and development.
  • Assist in providing solutions for process improvement and/or automation.
  • Assist in the development processes and procedures for new products and service offerings to internal customers.
  • Review and update system documentation and procedures.
  • Provide user training, support, and feedback.
  • Research client issues and work cross-functionally to resolve.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Management Information Systems with Business & Accounting courses preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an office environment.
  • Consolidation of large data sets from various systems.
  • Experience with the design and development of Qlik applications; QlikView 11.2 and/or QlikSense or similar tools (e.g., Tableau or Power BI) desired.
  • Experience writing VBA code a plus; SQL knowledge a plus.
  • Understanding or the ability to gain strong knowledge of various business processes (AR, AP, Inventory, General Ledger) and the integration between the systems in use.
  • Knowledge and understanding of relational databases.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, formulas, look-ups.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to create process documentation and procedures.
  • Ability to plan, organize, manage, and track multiple projects with constantly changing priorities.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
  • Ability to always work with respect and cooperation with fellow employees and customers.
  • Must be committed to always working safely.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Tableau or Power BI is desired.
  • Experience writing VBA code is a plus.
  • SQL knowledge is a plus.
