About the position

The BI & EDW Developer Intern position at Bass Pro Shops offers a 10-week immersive internship program designed for students to gain hands-on experience in business intelligence and data warehousing. Interns will work closely with experienced professionals, contributing to projects that impact the organization while developing their skills and professional network. The internship includes opportunities for field trips to various company locations, enhancing the learning experience about the company's operations and commitment to the outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of data models and visualizations in PowerBI to deliver insights to business stakeholders.
• Assist with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes using Snowflake, Python, and SQL to ensure data quality and accuracy.
• Collaborate on the maintenance and optimization of existing data pipelines and workflows.
• Use Python to perform data analysis, scripting, or automate tasks as needed.
• Help document data definitions, processes, and visualization techniques to support team best practices.

Requirements

• Completion of Junior year of college through graduating year.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in pursuit of a bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Eligible to work in the US.
• Ability to relocate to work location for the duration of the program.
