About the position

The ETL Developer III is a vital member of the Business Intelligence team, responsible for designing, developing, and supporting BI solutions. This role focuses on transforming data into actionable insights for the business, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with various stakeholders to meet business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Actively support efforts to enhance the customer experience.
  • Participate in discussions with team members and users to understand business requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT, Architecture, Business Analysts, and Report Developers to achieve business objectives.
  • Design, develop, implement, and support data integration jobs using Teradata Stored Procedures.
  • Implement best practice solutions per development standards.
  • Produce Ad Hoc Reports to address business questions promptly.
  • Develop technology documentation for production deployments and ongoing maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve data quality and performance issues.
  • Communicate complex topics to non-technical business personnel.
  • Provide accurate level of effort estimates for data integration development to management.
  • Work independently with minimal guidance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to consolidate multiple data sources for BI solutions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Teradata and/or other MPP data warehouse platforms.
  • Experience working with Telecom/Cable MSO data and applications.
  • Experience with MicroStrategy, Tableau.
  • Experience with ETL workflow and scheduling applications (Informatica, One Automation, UC4, Composite).
