About the position

The BI Technical Project Manager (TPM) will lead the Enterprise Data Warehouse Cloud Migration project, focusing on migrating existing data from SQL Server to the Snowflake Cloud platform. This role involves managing change management processes to ensure user engagement and training for a large cross-functional user base. The TPM will oversee project deliverables, ensuring timely and budget-compliant execution while collaborating with various stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive the project to architect and build data and analytics, ensuring quality and consistency across business functions.
• Facilitate and lead different workstreams within the project using technical and data analytics experience.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Analytics portfolio owners, developers, analysts, and cross-functional business stakeholders to migrate EDW data and its reports to the Snowflake Cloud platform.
• Manage code conversion, data foundation build, and reports and analytics migration efforts across all business functions.
• Conduct alignment sessions with business partners, IT counterparts, and internal teams to ensure project success.
• Develop a detailed project plan and timeline to monitor and track project progress.
• Manage risks and escalations effectively, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Assist in documenting best practices and measuring performance using project management tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• 7 years of experience in leading BI projects related to data engineering, analytics, and data warehousing.
• Hands-on experience with Enterprise Data Warehouse, Snowflake Cloud, SQL, and Tableau.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in leading organizational change efforts using data tools and solutions.
• Previous roles as Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse Solution Architect, Data Engineer, or Technical Business System Analyst.
