About the position

The Bid Coordinator / Specialist at Turtle Infrastructure Partners, LLC plays a crucial role in managing bid proposals for asphalt milling operations. This position involves estimating project costs, tracking project progress, and maintaining client relationships, all while ensuring accurate and timely submissions. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction estimating and strong organizational skills to effectively manage the bid pipeline and client communications.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble bid proposals for incoming quote requests, collaborating with the VP of Operations for final reviews.
• Identify target projects and continuously track them through advertisements, bid services, and customer requests.
• Oversee the full pipeline of quote requests and maintain the bid calendar, particularly for FDOT projects.
• Complete plan take-offs and prepare detailed proposals or quotes aligned with company standards.
• Engage in proactive communication with clients to follow up on proposed bids and update project status.
• Support contract reviews to align proposals with client requirements and minimize risk.
• Utilize Bid 2 Win (B2W) estimating software to manage and execute estimation tasks.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in construction estimating, specifically in asphalt or milling operations.
• Strong organizational skills to manage bid pipelines and project tracking.
• Effective communication skills for maintaining client relationships and coordinating with internal stakeholders.
• Strong math skills for analyzing data and accurately calculating material, labor, and cost estimates.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior experience in the asphalt or milling industry.
• Foundational knowledge of construction estimating with hands-on experience in project tracking and client proposal preparation.
• Proficiency with Build 2 Win (B2W) estimating software.
