About the position

The position involves designing, developing, and implementing big data solutions for both streaming and batch data. The role requires understanding business problems and utilizing big data technologies to address them, with a focus on hands-on experience with various tools and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop big data solutions for streaming and batch data.
• Implement big data technologies to solve business problems.
• Utilize open source and enterprise-level big data technologies and platforms.
• Work with SPARK using SCALA, and potentially Python and Java.
• Manage AWS services such as EMR, Elastic Search, Redshift, and Dynamo DB.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in SPARK using SCALA.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services (EMR, Elastic Search, Redshift, Dynamo DB).
• Ability to understand and solve business problems using big data technologies.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Python and Java.
