About the position

Innova Solutions is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves working with various data engineering tools and technologies, primarily focusing on Python, Spark, AWS, and ETL pipelines. The position is hybrid, allowing for flexibility in work location, and is aimed at enhancing data processing capabilities within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using Python and Spark.
• Migrate existing data pipelines from ECS to AWS Glue.
• Utilize AWS services such as EMR and Lambda for data processing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data solutions.
• Optimize data workflows and ensure data quality and integrity.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Spark.
• Experience with AWS services, particularly EMR and Lambda.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data pipeline development.
• Knowledge of GraphQL is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Databricks.
• Familiarity with AWS Glue for data migration.
