Penske Logistics is seeking part-time warehouse dock associates to join their team in Jacksonville, FL. The position involves various tasks related to the handling and management of auto parts within the warehouse, ensuring a clean and safe workspace while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety requirements
• Staple boxes and pack cages with auto parts
• Count auto parts and cages in lane
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Scan freight with handheld scanners
• Stack cardboard boxes and pallets
• Move materials within the warehouse
• Load cages and loose parts into trailers for delivery
• Label freight

Requirements

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Customer service skills and ability to deal with others
• Multi-tasking and organizational skills required
• Flexibility to work overtime preferred
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to work the required schedule at the specific location required
• Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation and drug screening required
