About the position

As a Bilingual Apartment Leasing Agent at InterSolutions, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service to both current and prospective residents. This position is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic, driven, and possess a passion for working with people. You will be responsible for greeting prospective residents, conducting tours, and determining their housing needs and preferences. Your ability to engage with different personalities will be key in closing leads and ensuring a positive leasing experience. In this role, you will accurately prepare and assist new residents with all necessary leasing paperwork, including lease move-in packets, applications, lease agreements, and conducting employment and credit checks. You will also be responsible for collecting security deposits, rent, and any other charges associated with resident move-ins. Clear communication of lease and community policies to both new and current residents is essential, as is following up with leads and prospects who did not lease. Additionally, you will ensure that apartments are move-in ready by inspecting them and adding last-minute touches when appropriate. Creative marketing techniques will be employed to seek out new residents, and you will manage the lease renewal process. Timely responses to all calls, emails, and site visits are expected to maintain a high level of customer service. This position reports directly to the property manager and offers opportunities for career growth within the multifamily industry.

Responsibilities

  • Greet prospective residents and give tours while determining housing needs, preferences, and close leads
  • Accurately prepare and assist new residents with all leasing paperwork (i.e. lease move-in packets, applications, lease agreements, and employment and credit checks)
  • Collect security deposits, rent, and any other charges associated with resident move-ins
  • Communicate all lease and community policies to new and current residents
  • Follow up with all leads and prospects that did not lease
  • Ensure apartments are move-in ready by inspecting, and adding last-minute touches when appropriate

Requirements

  • Must be fluent in both English and Spanish
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
  • Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Exposure to social media
  • Knowledge of leasing software is a plus including Yardi, Blue Moon, Onesite, MRI, etc.
  • Ability to work weekends as required
