About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Bilingual (English/Spanish) Assistant Plant Manager to join our team at Holden America IL LLC. The ideal candidate will support the Plant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficient production processes, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This role involves managing the processing of sales orders, overseeing inventory forecasting, procurement, and control, and assisting in planning and scheduling production activities. Additionally, the Assistant Plant Manager will supervise a team of 70 hourly employees, travel to customer sites for training and observation, chair the safety committee, and assist in strategic planning. The role also includes maintaining the facility and managing freight contracts.
