About the position

The Bilingual Assistant Property Manager at Atlas Property Management plays a crucial role in supporting the Property Manager with the daily operations of residential properties. This position requires a proactive individual who can assist in maintenance, administration, and improvement efforts while ensuring exceptional customer service and tenant satisfaction. The role involves a mix of administrative tasks, team management, and direct interaction with tenants and potential renters.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Property Manager in day-to-day operations, maintenance, administration, and improvement of residential properties
  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating general maintenance and repairs of residential properties
  • Inspect grounds, facilities, and equipment routinely to determine necessity of repairs or maintenance to residential properties
  • Advertising the complex and individual units for lease
  • Detailed record-keeping of each unit and its tenant(s)
  • Answering phone calls, emails, and company texts
  • Staging units for viewing
  • Speaking with potential tenants and 'selling' the complex
  • Inspecting units upon move-out to observe damages, etc.
  • Updating the company server and website
  • Ensuring quality and professionalism
  • Create, mentor and manage a cohesive team

Requirements

  • Experience in Property Management a plus
  • Must be fluent in both English and Spanish
  • Experience in managing a team required
  • High school diploma
  • Proficient in computer programs, including Microsoft Office
  • Good people skills
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Eagerness to learn
  • Self-motivated
  • Hard working

Nice-to-haves

  • Customer service experience (1 year preferred)
