About the position

The Bilingual Assistant Property Manager will play a crucial role in the leasing of all vacant units and will assist the Property Manager with the daily operations of the office. This position requires a professional individual who enjoys working with people and has a knack for problem-solving. The ideal candidate will convey warmth and openness while maintaining authority, possess common sense, and be an effective communicator. The Assistant Property Manager will be the first point of contact for prospective and current residents, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive living experience for all residents. In this role, the Assistant Property Manager will be responsible for answering incoming calls and emails, completing rental forms and agreements, and collecting rents and deposits. They will assist the Property Manager in the collection of delinquent rents and will actively seek ways to enhance the resident experience. The position also involves processing administrative forms and reports, performing residential leasing, and utilizing effective telephone and sales techniques. The Assistant Property Manager will send out late notices, file evictions, and undertake other duties as assigned by the Property Manager. The successful candidate must have excellent customer service skills, proficiency in MS Word and Excel, strong math skills, and the ability to multi-task effectively. Attention to detail, strong writing skills, and the ability to work well under pressure are essential. The candidate should be tech-savvy, organized, and a self-starter. A valid driver's license is also required for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Providing first-line customer service to all prospective residents and current residents
  • Answering all incoming calls and emails
  • Completing rental forms and agreements
  • Collecting rents/deposits
  • Assisting the Property Manager in collection of delinquent rents
  • Proactively looking for ways to better the experience for our residents
  • Processing of all administrative forms and reports

  • Other duties as determined and required by the Property Manager
