About the position

The Bilingual Associate Pastor and Worship Leader at Calvary Chapel Melbourne is responsible for overseeing all aspects of pastoral care and worship leadership at the Español Campus. This role includes leading Spanish services, organizing worship for various events, and supporting the church's ministry efforts. The position aims to foster a loving community that glorifies God and empowers individuals to fulfill their God-given calling.

Responsibilities

• Teach and lead weekly Spanish services and praise nights.
• Develop Bible studies for the Spanish-speaking community.
• Provide Biblical counseling in Spanish.
• Perform weddings and funerals.
• Oversee Spanish-bilingual home groups and discipleship classes.
• Manage the prayer team, production team, and usher team.
• Lead worship for Wednesday and Sunday services, and praise nights.
• Schedule and train volunteers for worship services.
• Plan and prepare for weekly rehearsals and organize band rotation.
• Conduct auditions for new musicians and vocals.
• Coordinate special services such as Christmas and Easter.
• Maintain musical proficiency and chart reading abilities.
• Train and teach new musicians and vocalists.
• Attend Thursday Worship Staff Meetings.
• Coordinate with the Worship Coordinator.
• Manage ProPresenter setup and training.
• Translate materials to Spanish.
• Help plan and coordinate events.
• Maintain communication with team members.

Requirements

• Minimum one-year participation in the church.
• Bilingual (Spanish-English) capabilities, fluent in both languages.
