About the position
The Bilingual Call Center Associate position at Conduent involves providing customer service support to Medicaid recipients and healthcare providers. This remote role requires effective communication and problem-solving skills to assist callers with inquiries related to Medicaid benefits, eligibility, and claims analysis. Responsibilities
- Respond to Virginia Medicaid member and provider inquiries using a computerized system in a call center environment.
- Gather information, assess caller needs, research and resolve inquiries, and document calls.
- Provide clear and concise information regarding eligibility, claim status, and provider enrollment status.
- Follow documented policies and procedures including call handling and escalations.
- Act as an advocate for Medicaid recipients and providers to ensure their needs are met.
- Verify documents and images as needed.
- Complete required assigned training.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Must be able to clear a criminal background check and drug test.
- Must have high-speed internet access.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience with Medicaid, Medicare, or Health Insurance preferred.
- Computer system experience with data entry and database documentation knowledge.
- Call center or professional office experience.
- Knowledge of Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) is helpful.
- Bilingual; Spanish speaking preferred.
