About the position

The Bilingual Call Center Associate position at Conduent involves providing customer service support to Medicaid recipients and healthcare providers. This remote role requires effective communication and problem-solving skills to assist callers with inquiries related to Medicaid benefits, eligibility, and claims analysis. The position offers a structured work schedule with weekends off and opportunities for career growth within a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to Virginia Medicaid member and provider inquiries using a computerized system in a call center environment.
  • Gather information, assess caller needs, research and resolve inquiries, and document calls.
  • Provide clear and concise information regarding eligibility, claim status, and provider enrollment status.
  • Follow documented policies and procedures including call handling and escalations.
  • Act as an advocate for Medicaid recipients and providers to ensure their needs are met.
  • Verify documents and images as needed.
  • Complete required assigned training.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must be able to clear a criminal background check and drug test.
  • Must have high-speed internet access.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience with Medicaid, Medicare, or Health Insurance preferred.
  • Computer system experience with data entry and database documentation knowledge.
  • Call center or professional office experience.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) is helpful.
  • Bilingual; Spanish speaking preferred.
