Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living tasks based on established care plans.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean environment.
• Transport clients to appointments and errands as needed.
• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
• Safely transfer clients using proper techniques and equipment.
• Notify the Care Manager of any client concerns or changes in condition.
• Follow company infection control practices and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
• Accurately document timekeeping and task status for each client.

Requirements

• Fluent in Spanish.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Minimum of 1,000 hours of experience working with geriatric or chronically ill individuals preferred.
• Ability to perform safe transfer techniques for clients.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
• Must pass a criminal background check and provide verifiable references.

Nice-to-haves

• CNA or HHA license is a plus but not mandatory.
• Current TB testing is required.
