About the position
The Bilingual Claims Field Representative at Mountain West Farm Bureau is responsible for investigating, analyzing, and determining the extent of liability for personal, casualty, or property loss or damages. This role requires fluency in both English and Spanish and involves effective communication with insureds, claimants, and other parties to resolve claims. The position is full-time and located onsite in Grand Junction, CO, typically working 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Investigate and analyze claims to determine liability for personal, casualty, or property loss or damages.
- Communicate effectively with insureds, claimants, and other parties involved in the claims process.
- Utilize analytical and critical thinking skills to address issues and problems related to claims.
- Manage conflicts and mediate disputes between individuals and groups.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the claims process.
Requirements
- High school degree or GED.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Ability to pass a state adjuster's licensing exam.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to claim sites as required.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
