About the position

The Bilingual Cloud Technical Account Manager (TAM) at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a pivotal role designed to support customers in maximizing their use of AWS services. This position is not a sales role; instead, it focuses on providing consultative architectural and operational guidance tailored to the unique needs of each customer. The TAM will engage with a diverse range of clients, from startups to Fortune 500 companies, helping them navigate the complexities of cloud computing and ensuring they derive the greatest value from AWS offerings. In this role, the TAM will be responsible for conducting Strategic Business Reviews, Security Improvement Programs, and Well-Architected reviews, among other proactive services. The TAM will leverage their technical expertise to consult on architecture, governance, security, and operations, including cost management. This position requires strong customer-facing skills, as the TAM will represent AWS within the customer's environment and engage in discussions with senior leadership regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management. The TAM will also be tasked with maintaining operational health and resilience of the customers' AWS environments, fostering close relationships to understand their business needs and technical challenges. This role requires a commitment to continuous learning and adaptation, as the TAM will need to stay updated on AWS services and best practices to effectively advocate for their customers. The AWS Global Support team believes that world-class support is critical to customer success, and the TAM will play a key role in driving this success.
