About the position

The Bilingual Community Association Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of a community Homeowners' Association (HOA) under the direction of the Developer or Board of Directors. This role focuses on achieving financial and service goals, enhancing community life, and maintaining property values. The manager will lead a team, handle administrative tasks, manage maintenance operations, ensure effective communication, and oversee financial management to support the community's needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and empower Association staff by defining expectations and providing necessary resources.
  • Contribute to building trust and respect among HOA Board, staff, volunteers, and vendors through timely task completion.
  • Manage personnel administration including recruitment, performance management, and staff support.
  • Oversee architectural request processes and ensure timely communication with homeowners.
  • Ensure safe access and movement within the community by managing entries and roadways.
  • Maintain Association buildings and common areas through routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance.
  • Handle communications with owners and stakeholders to enhance their perception of the Association.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, billing, and financial statements to ensure liquidity of the Association.
  • Oversee purchasing processes to acquire goods and services efficiently.
  • Develop and implement safety and risk management plans to minimize loss.
  • Ensure compliance with legal obligations and stay updated on relevant legislation.
  • Manage special projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.

Requirements

  • In-depth experience with staff management, project management, budget management, and strategic planning.
  • Valid driver's license and current vehicle liability insurance.
  • Valid Florida Community Association Manager License.
  • Proven community association management experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of clubhouse operations, food & beverage management, and recreational services.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish or other languages.
  • Experience in community-based recreation programming.
