About the position

Acento Real Estate Partners is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bilingual Community Manager to oversee the operations of a 446-unit residential community located in Frederick, MD. This position is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of the property, maintaining positive relationships with residents, and efficiently managing administrative tasks. The Community Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the residential community, including leasing, maintenance, and resident relations. This role requires a proactive approach to property management, ensuring compliance with safety and cleanliness standards through regular property inspections. The Community Manager will handle resident inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner, coordinating move-in and move-out processes, conducting unit inspections, and managing security deposit returns. In addition to overseeing the collection of rent payments and ensuring timely processing, the Community Manager will collaborate with maintenance staff to address repair and maintenance needs promptly. Enforcing community rules and regulations is essential to maintain a safe and harmonious living environment. The ideal candidate will stay updated on Fair Housing regulations and ensure compliance in all interactions with residents. Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the residential community, including leasing, maintenance, and resident relations.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Handle resident inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including conducting unit inspections and managing security deposit returns.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident information, lease agreements, work orders, and other relevant documentation.
  • Oversee the collection of rent payments and ensure timely processing.
  • Collaborate with maintenance staff to address repair and maintenance needs promptly.
  • Enforce community rules and regulations to maintain a safe and harmonious living environment.
  • Stay updated on Fair Housing regulations and ensure compliance in all interactions with residents.

Requirements

  • Fluent in Spanish
  • 5 years of experience as Property Manager
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of real estate, administrative procedures and practices
  • Excellent conflict management skills to effectively resolve disputes between residents or with external parties
  • Familiarity with legal administrative processes related to leasing contracts and eviction procedures
  • Exceptional customer relationship management skills to provide excellent service to residents
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in using property management software such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and OneSite
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Adobe
