About the position

The Bilingual Community Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the office, providing exceptional customer service to residents, and assisting with property management tasks. The ideal candidate should be professional, personable, and adept at problem-solving, with strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents and team members.

Responsibilities

  • Providing first-line customer service to all prospective residents and current residents
  • Answering all incoming calls and emails
  • Completing rental forms and agreements
  • Collecting rents/deposits
  • Assisting the Property Manager in collection of delinquent rents
  • Proactively looking for ways to better the experience for our residents
  • Processing of all administrative forms and reports
  • Performing residential leasing, telephone and sales techniques successfully
  • Sending out late notices and filing evictions
  • Other duties as determined and required by the Property Manager

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel
  • Strong math skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Detail oriented
  • Well written
  • Work well under pressure
  • Tech savvy
  • Organized
  • Self-starter
  • Valid driver's license

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in property management (1 year preferred)
  • Experience in property leasing (1 year preferred)
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (preferred)
