About the position

The Bilingual Consumer Service Operations Representative plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced inbound call center environment. This position involves handling a high volume of calls related to enrollment and eligibility verification for CarePlus and Humana health plans in Florida, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, and delivering first-call resolutions to enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Handle a large volume of incoming calls from sales agents licensed to sell CarePlus and Humana in Florida.
  • Provide first-call resolution and exceptional customer service in a fast-paced call center environment.
  • Conduct enrollment verification, eligibility verification, pre-screening, and initiate expedited referrals for Federal and State assistance programs.
  • Provide plan and benefits information to callers and assist with appointments and sales agent certification inquiries.
  • Follow all regulatory and compliance guidelines set by state and federal government or the plan.

Requirements

  • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, able to speak, read, and write in both languages without limitations.
  • 3 years of customer service experience, including typing/data entry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Outlook and Word.
  • Ability to live near and travel to the closest CarePlus Health Plan facility as needed.

Nice-to-haves

  • Associate or bachelor's degree.
  • Excellent verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
  • Previous healthcare experience.
  • Previous inbound and/or outbound call center experience.
  • Aptitude for quickly learning and navigating new technology, systems, and applications.
