About the position

The Bilingual English-Spanish Accounting Clerk position is a full-time role located in the Carteret, NJ area, primarily focused on managing accounts payable and receivable tasks within a distribution center. The role requires proficiency in SAP and excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish to effectively handle vendor inquiries and documentation management.

Responsibilities

  • Review and manage invoices to ensure timely and accurate payments.
  • Utilize accounting software (SAP) for invoice entry and payment processing.
  • Handle the payment of utility bills and download bills from websites.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries, resolving payment issues and discrepancies.
  • Prepare resale certificates for vendors as necessary.
  • Manage electronic documentation.

Requirements

  • Experience in Accounts Payable & Receivable is a must.
  • Experience in electronic document management is required.
  • SAP experience is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
