About the position

Kanner & Pintaluga, a dynamic and rapidly growing personal injury and property damage law firm, is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Bilingual (English/Spanish) Paralegal to join our team in Boca Raton, FL. The position of Litigation Paralegal involves working directly with our attorneys to assist them with ongoing cases and prepare them for trial if necessary. This role is crucial in conducting fact-finding projects and maintaining all case files, ensuring that our legal team is well-prepared and organized for each case. As a Litigation Paralegal, you will perform a variety of essential job functions, including secretarial, clerical, and data entry duties. You will be responsible for preparing correspondence on your own initiative for attorney approval and drafting legal documents as required. Document management will be a key part of your role, utilizing Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe to ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date. You will also draft legal court documents, such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, and subpoenas, and communicate effectively with clients to keep them informed about their cases. This position requires a full-time commitment, with working hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of paralegal experience, be bilingual in English and Spanish, and preferably have first-party property experience. Familiarity with case management software and e-filing in both state and federal courts is essential. You should be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite and possess the ability to manage a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational skills, multitasking abilities, and effective communication with clients and co-workers are critical for success in this role. Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys with ongoing cases and prepare them for trial if needed.
