The position also entails managing, organizing, and archiving legal documents using various software tools and technology, which is crucial for maintaining an efficient workflow. The paralegal will be the point of contact for case managers, adjusters, opposing attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders involved in the cases, which requires strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information appropriately. Scheduling client meetings and assisting support staff and attorneys are also key responsibilities. The paralegal will assist in drafting settlement demand packets and preparing exhibits for court presentations. E-filing through workers' compensation and court systems is another critical task, ensuring that all legal documents are submitted in a timely manner. Additionally, the ability to serve as a translator when needed is essential, given the bilingual requirement of the position.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Valid Paralegal Certificate certification.
  • Experience in workers' compensation law.
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred).
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
