About the position
The Bilingual English/Spanish Private CNA position involves providing compassionate care to an elderly female client with Alzheimer's and pre-diabetes. The role requires a skilled caregiver who can manage the client's personal care needs, monitor vital signs, and assist with daily activities while ensuring a gentle and caring approach. The position offers flexible scheduling with 12-hour shifts available during the day and night.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care including dressing, bathing, and toileting.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
- Take and record vital signs and assist with blood sugar readings.
- Follow the client's routine as instructed by the family.
- Anticipate the client's needs and re-direct if necessary.
Requirements
- Must be bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Experience with Alzheimer's care is required.
- Ability to take and record vital signs.
- CNA license (expired within a year is acceptable).
