About the position

The Bilingual Entry Level Insurance Sales position at National General Insurance offers a unique opportunity for motivated individuals to gain industry experience in a sales and customer support role. This role involves preparing and training to become a Licensed Insurance Sales Agent, with comprehensive paid training provided. The individual will assist customers, engage in marketing activities, and support office functions under the guidance of an experienced agent. Once licensed, the position focuses on the profitable growth of Direct Auto products, including auto and life insurance, through direct customer engagement and market analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in person and via phone to provide excellent service and support.
• Complete marketing activities to promote Direct Auto products.
• Help with all office functions under the guidance of an Agent or Lead Sales Agent.
• Monitor key competitors in the local market and suggest initiatives to improve market position.
• Responsible for sales administration and reporting activities.
• Market and service Direct Auto products to new and existing customers after obtaining the necessary licenses.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain customer relationships.
• Experience or willingness to develop relationships and market products within the community.
• Strong computer skills and working knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to acquire Property/Casualty license within 90 days of hire.

Nice-to-haves

• Property/Casualty license preferred but not required.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
