This position is essential in supporting the mission of NYAP, which has been dedicated to serving communities and clients since 1978. The recruiter will work closely with the Recruitment Director to create promotional materials, including flyers and advertisements, to effectively communicate the need for foster parents and the services provided by NYAP. In addition to recruitment efforts, the Foster Parent Recruiter will assist potential foster parents in completing the necessary paperwork to become licensed and meet state pre-service training requirements. This includes providing guidance to existing foster parents during the re-certification process, ensuring they maintain their eligibility to serve children. The recruiter will develop and implement an ongoing recruitment plan, submitting monthly reports on community actions and responses to the appropriate director.
