About the position

We are seeking a warm, Front Desk Administrative Assistant to join our orthopedic and spine surgery office. The role focuses on delivering exceptional patient care through excellent customer service, multitasking, and ensuring smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will be friendly, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist patients and/or visitors in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Manage incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate departments while providing accurate information as needed.
  • Schedule appointments and manage calendars for staff members, ensuring efficient time management.
  • Handle customer inquiries with patience and professionalism, delivering high-quality customer service.
  • Prep charts and verify insurance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar clerical role is preferred.
  • Bilingual proficiency is required; fluency in English and another language is essential.
  • Strong computer literacy skills, including proficiency in office software applications.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain an efficient office environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a medical receptionist role is a plus but not mandatory.
