About the position
The Bilingual Front Desk Receptionist, also known as the Front Desk Smile Maker, plays a crucial role in creating a positive patient experience at Rodeo Dental & Orthodontics. This position involves engaging with patients, managing appointments, and supporting the dental team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a vibrant personality, a commitment to patient care, and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Engage and entertain patients at the front desk and in the lobby.
- Educate patients and the community through outreach efforts.
- Collect patient information to verify insurance eligibility.
- Input data to create insurance claims.
- Gather patient health history as required.
- Schedule appointments with patients daily.
- Obtain pre-authorizations for treatment.
- Support the dental team by performing all other assigned duties.
- Communicate clearly with team members and doctors.
Requirements
- Bilingual in Spanish is required.
- Previous dental experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience with dental practice management software (Open Dental/Dentrix) is helpful.
- 1 year of experience in a front desk role is preferred.
