We are seeking a competitive and dynamic Bilingual Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at Brazilian Lumber in Miami, FL. This full-time position is essential for providing exceptional customer service and supporting our sales efforts in the retail environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welcoming customers, answering phone calls, and assisting clients with their needs in our showroom. The role requires a proactive approach to customer service, ensuring that every visitor receives prompt and courteous attention. The Receptionist will also play a key role in maximizing sales and contributing to the company's growth by effectively communicating product features and benefits to customers. In this position, you will be the first point of contact for customers, and your ability to engage with them will be crucial. You will need to ascertain customers' needs and wants, maintain up-to-date knowledge of our product offerings, and assist with various administrative tasks. This includes filing, data entry, and organizing documents, as well as handling incoming and outgoing mail and packages. Maintaining a clean and orderly reception area is also part of your responsibilities, as it reflects our commitment to professionalism and customer satisfaction. The goal of this role is to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service while adhering to company policies and procedures. You will also be expected to support your manager with miscellaneous tasks as needed. Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate person or department

Requirements

  • Proven working experience in retail sales
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
  • Track record of over-achieving sales quota
  • Proficiency in English & Spanish
  • Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Excel proficiency
  • Ability to use Quickbooks software
  • Customer service focus
  • Basic administration skills
  • Minimum High School Degree, college degree a plus
